Introduction of apron feeder

Apron feeder is one of the conveying equipment, It is used to continuously and uniformly feed minerals to devices like crushing or conveying equipment in nonferrous metals mining cement fertilizer chemical metallurgical paper mining dressing ingredients industries etc.  

The continuous steel belt of the apron feeder is made up of overlapping steel plate,  that are connected to and supported by steel chains with the underside reinforced and designed to withstand impact loading. Both the carrying and returning rollers feature lifetime-lubricated, fully-sealed bearings.

Apron feeder can perfectly solve the transportation problem of loose and block materials as well as large feeding quantity problem in large and medium production lines. Working Principle of plate feeder

The apron feeder consists of heavy-duty conveyor chains, on which the apron pans are mounted. The chains run on support rollers that are mounted to the apron feeder frame. They are driven by chain sprockets and tensioned either mechanically or hydraulically.

Running parts is a key of the machine. It can be dragged by circular circuit drag chain; drag chain can be traction on supporting wheel and supporting roller can support conveying channel so as to convey materials.

The raw materials from the quarry are dumped directly into a reinforced feed hopper and extracted by the apron feeder. The apron feeder ensures a steady flow of material to the next stage of the process, typically a crushing plant.
