Introduction of rotary lime kiln
The lime rotary kiln is widely used in the fields of building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry, environmental protection, etc. Lime rotary kiln can be divided into cement kiln, metallurgy chemical kiln and lime kiln according to the different materials processed.
It mainly consists of kiln body, sealing device for kiln tail, main and auxiliary driving device, burning device, discharging device, speed regulation, instrument control, PLC programming, interlocking device, and dust-extraction device, etc.
The lime rotary kiln is mainly used to calcine cement clinker; In the process of non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy, such as iron, aluminum, copper, zinc, stannum, nickel, wolfram, chromium, etc. the rotary kiln can be used to sinter and roast ore, concentrate, intermedium, etc. The lime kiln is mainly used to calcine limestones.
Features of rotary lime kiln

Working principle of rotary lime kiln
The lime rotary kiln is a cylindrical vessel, inclined slightly to the horizontal, which is rotated slowly about its axis. The material to be processed is fed into the upper end of the cylinder.
At first, preheat the limestone to above 800℃, they will start to compose, And then, they will be pushed into the kiln for further burning by the push rod actuator. As the lime rotary kiln rotates, material gradually moves down towards the lower end and may undergo a certain amount of stirring and mixing.
Hot gases pass along the kiln, sometimes in the same direction as the process material (co-current), but usually in the opposite direction (counter current).
The hot gases may be generated in an external furnace or may be generated by a flame inside the kiln. Such a flame is projected from a burner pipe (or "firing pipe") which acts like a large Bunsen burner. Until the temperature reaches about 1200 ℃, materials cooled by the cooler, they will be discharged out.
