Introduction of disc feeder

Disk Feeder is a cubage measuring feeding equipment; it supplies materials to the next procedure evenly and continuously; at the same time, it can bear relatively higher pressure.

Disk Feeder has the advantages of simple structure, uniform feeding, and reliable use, and can achieve the purpose of adjusting the feeding amount if the distance between the sleeve and the disc is changed.

It is a fine powdery material feeder suitable for non-cohesive materials like coal powder, cement, chamotte, limestone, shale, gangue, and clunch. It is widely used in the gold concentrator, coal mine, chemical plant, construction and foundry for quantitative and even feeding.

Working principle of disc feeder

Disc feeder is composed of the driving device, feeder unit, belt conveyor for metering use and metering device. Feeder and belt conveyor is driven by a set of the driving device.

Bulky materials entering into the cylinder from the hopper accumulate by itself weight on the disk. With the gap between the sleeve and the adjusting bolt to adjust the disk, can control the material in the disc on the natural angle.

When the disc rotates, the material is evenly scraped off the disc, so that the material can be uniformly scraped into the receiving hopper with the rotation of the disc.

Adjust the gap between the unloading knife and the disk to control the feeding volume.
